The Diversity and Inclusion Leadership Council is comprised of employees across divisions and functions who each bring a distinct perspective to the group. This team has a mandate to Influence, Provide Guidance and Support PepsiCo Canada's Diversity and Inclusion commitment.
PepsiCo was the first major company to engage in multicultural marketing. Today, we continue our leadership in reaching out to consumers worldwide through inclusive programs such as the Pepsi Refresh Project
We are committed to purchasing quality products and services from a diverse supplier base. In 2006, we globally surpassed $1 billion in spending with minority and women vendors. In 2009, PepsiCo’s global spending with minority and women-owned vendors reached almost $1.3 billion.
We support diversity and inclusion in local communities around the world through our corporate giving and community programs. Giving is made through the PepsiCo Foundation (global),PepsiCo Canada corporate contributions and PepsiCo Employee donations.
